The Flash Reports draw on FIFPRO PWM’s data findings to provide scientific mid-season analysis on player workload and match scheduling.
This edition focuses on the impact that the global pandemic and resulting disruption to the footballing calendar have had on player workload and recovery. The focus of the analysis is on the period since May 2020, namely the ‘emergency period’.
The report includes an overview of the competition calendar during this period and a multi-level analysis covering players across various different competitions. The analysis is based on the appearances and workload of 265 selected players from the FIFPRO PWM platform.
